NSBI Fall Registration - Happening Now

North Star Bible Institute will begin a new semester September 12 as we offer classes on several week nights. This year promises to be an exciting one as we continue to search the scriptures and learn of its value in our every day life. Our student body includes those who have never taken a course to those who will finish with a degree this Spring. Wherever you are in your maturity, NSBI offers everyone the opportunity to grow in their walk with Christ.

Course synopsis:

  • Big Picture Studies- Old Testament overview using charts, graphs, maps, timelines. This will put the Bible in perspective for the Christian.
  • Matthew- A verse by verse /practical and very important study. Special attention is given to the Jewish character of the book with an emphasis on the difference between the Kingdom of Heaven and Kingdom of God. Much prophecy will also be examined in detail.
  • 1 & 2 Samuel- A verse by verse/practical study of the historical, doctrinal and devotional perspective of these books, a total of 55 chapters.
  • Minor Prophets- A verse by verse/practical study of Hosea through Malachi. There is nothing Minor about this twelve book study!
  • Manuscript Evidence- A technical study of the controversies and histories of manuscript theory. Important principles of textual criticism and translation are discussed along with a look at the majority text, received text, and Authorized Version of the English Bible. A necessary course to defend the validity of the Bible.
  • Greek 1- A study of biblical Greek without any previous knowledge of the Greek language.
  • The Five T’s- A verse by verse/ practical study of five Pauline epistles- 1&2 Thessalonians, 1&2 Timothy, Titus, a total of 21 chapters will be examined.

Our student body includes those who have never taken a course to those who will finish with a degree this Spring. Wherever you are in your maturity, NSBI offers everyone the opportunity to grow in their walk with Christ.

Course synopsis:

Big Picture Studies- New Testament overview using charts, graphs, maps, timelines. This will put the Bible in perspective for the Christian as they study the Life of Christ, Peter, Paul, and John’s Revelation.

Exodus - A verse-by-verse study of the redemption of Israel from Egypt. Practical in its application to the Christian’s redemption and call from the world. The book reveals Jesus Christ in many ways.

Hebrews & James - A careful theological approach is taken to these verse-by-verse studies that can cause confusion at first glance. The Jewish nature/emphasis of these books are put into proper perspective for the New Testament believer.

U. S. History - Survey of American historical events, people and movements from discovery to the present day. Special emphasis is placed on the Biblical principles of the U. S. Constitution and the Bible believers that God has used to impact our country.

Pastoral Theology - A thorough survey of practical knowledge in pastoral work. Taught from the perspective with over 30 years Pastoral experience. It will be useful to anyone  seeking better leadership skills and ministry experience.

Principles of Missions - Concepts, principles, ethics, and the pragmatic aspects of missions work are all discussed openly and honestly. The course will be taught using a Biblical, historical cultural, and strategic look at Missions.

1 Peter through Jude - A verse-by-verse study of the books that are among the most misunderstood and misapplied in the Bible. The doctrine that is taught in these books is the primary concern of this course.
