Welcome to North Star Bible Institute

North Star Bible Institute offers the disciple many opportunities for the serious student. Among them are:

  • A higher education environment accompanied by greater expectations in disciple performance
  • In-depth studies of books of the Bible, theology and related subject matter to prepare the disciple for leadership in ministry
  • Group discussions that involve a broad variety of students, evaluating priorities in ministry and dissenting theological opinions
  • Requirement of a high level of commitment which leads to leadership development and selection

The classes run in a 4 year rotation and can be taken one at a time or as many as the student wishes to take.
The Institute has trained many people who are now pastors, missionaries, Sunday School workers and others who are serving the Lord with knowledge.

NSBI Spring Registration - Happening Now

North Star Bible Institute will begin a new semester January 17th as we offer classes on several week nights. This year promises to be an exciting one as we continue to search the scriptures and learn of its value in our every day life. Our student body includes those who have never taken a course to those who will finish with a degree this Spring. Wherever you are in your maturity, NSBI offers everyone the opportunity to grow in their walk with Christ.

Course synopsis:

  • Big Picture Studies- New Testament overview using charts, graphs, maps, timelines. This will put the Bible in perspective for the Christian.
  • Gospel of John- A verse by verse /practical study of the most unique Gospel given to us. It expresses the Deity of Jesus Christ and is presented to the entire world.
  • Apologetics- A philosophical and biblical study on how to best defend the Christian faith and our doctrinal truths. The student will be challenged on not only what we defend, but how and why we do so.
  • Biblical Law- This course will give an understanding of the laws and guidelines instituted by God to govern mankind. A relevant practical application will be given to the student.
  • Problem Texts- This course examines many of the alleged contradictions and errors in the Word of God and through examination,  brings into focus principles of text resolution. The student will learn how to better trust the Bible to be infallible.
  • Galatians through Colossians- A verse by verse/practical study of the meat of the Pauline epistles. These 4 books and 20 chapters will give the student a better understanding of New Testament doctrine and how to apply it with the right motive.
